Have you been to Secondhand Prose on Main Street, our non profit used bookshop staffed and run entirely by Friends of the Athenaeum? 

 Summer is busy at the store! Come in and ask about volunteering.

 *Do you like to talk about your favorite reads?

 *Do you enjoy meeting others who love books?

 *Do you have some time to give to your community?

                                  WE NEED YOU!

 At Secondhand Prose we meet, we greet, we stock, we shelve, we
witness the surprise and wonder of new shoppers, we sort boxes of
donations, we help book search missions. 

 Come see us Monday - Saturday 11 am - 3 pm.
